How it works

Five steps, per delivery.

  1. 01

    Add a client

Give them a name. That's their folder: their voice, their drafts and their deliveries live under it.

  2. 02

    Give them a voice

Paste some of the client's own writing (emails, posts, articles). Sealis measures its habits: sentence length, contractions, punctuation, the words they use. Each client's voice is kept apart from every other client's.

  3. 03

Rewrite a draft in that voice

Paste the draft inside the delivery and press one button. You get a rewrite with stock AI phrases removed and the numbers, dates and names checked, plus a match percentage with plain-English reasons it isn't higher. Edit it as much as you like.

  4. 04

Send your client a private link

Pressing send gives you a link to a page with just the finished text. It carries your name, not Sealis's. You send it from your own email: one button opens your mail app with the message ready.

  5. 05

They approve or ask for changes

Your client presses Approve or Request changes and can leave a note. If they want changes, you edit the text and send it back. Your edits are saved as corrections on that client's voice, so the next draft starts closer.

What your client sees

One page. Two buttons.

No account and no app. They see the finished text under your name, and press Approve or Request changes. You can choose to show them the match percentage; by default they don't see it.

From Sam Rivera

Example
Our new rye is out on Thursday 6 March. It's dense, a little sour, and best the next morning. $9 a loaf, and we'll only have a few. Ring ahead and we'll set one aside.

Who uses it

Writing as someone else.

  • Copywriters and freelancers

One saved voice per client, built from their own writing. Every draft gets a match score against it before it goes back, so a client who writes short and plain never receives something long and ornate.

Example client · boutique hotel ExampleRooms are ready from 2pm. If you're early, leave your bags with us and go find a coffee. The good one's on the corner.

  • Agencies and content teams

Whoever writes the draft, and whatever tool they started in, the brand voice is the yardstick. A match score on every draft shows drift before a client does.

Example brand · outdoor gear ExampleBuilt for wet weekends. Seams taped, zips sealed, no fuss. It packs smaller than your lunch.

  • Ghostwriters and founders

Write as the person whose name goes on it, or for each of your companies, without one voice bleeding into another. Each voice only ever uses its own samples.

Example founder · small clinic ExampleWe saw fewer readmissions this year. It is early, and we will say so again when the next numbers are in.

Questions.

01Why not just use Claude or ChatGPT?

You can rewrite in a voice there if you paste samples every time. Studio keeps each client's voice saved and separate, measures how closely a draft matches, removes stock AI phrasing, checks that numbers and names survived, and runs the send-and-approve loop with your client. The rewrite is one part of it.

02Does my client see Sealis?

No. The client page shows your name, or your business name, and nothing of ours. Seals are for your own records unless you choose to share one.

03Will one client's writing leak into another's?

No. A rewrite for a client only ever uses that client's own samples and corrections, and a test in the code checks it.

04How good is the match percentage?

It measures habits such as sentence length, contractions and punctuation. It's a useful signal, not a verdict on quality, and our published report says voice matching is modest and where it falls short.

05Where does the text go?

To an AI provider to produce the rewrite. Our privacy page names the providers and what they say they do with it. Don't paste anything confidential you aren't comfortable sending to one. Separately, sharing samples for research is optional and off by default. If you choose it, anonymised samples (emails, phone numbers and links removed, no account details attached) are kept for Sealis Labs research, to test and improve how Sealis works, and are not shown to other customers.

06What is a seal?

A record of the text, the voice it was checked against and the time, so you can show it hasn't changed since you sent it. It doesn't prove who wrote it or that no AI was involved, and it says so.
